A registered dietitian (RD) is a food and nutrition professional. Registered dietitians have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and complete an internship, some RDs may have graduate degrees as well. For more information click here to learn more about registered dietitians
During your visit with our dietitian, you will discuss your child’s typical daily intake to ensure that the eliminated of food(s) are appropriately replaced based on personal preference and individual nutritional requirements. This can also help to determine if more nutrition-dense foods or supplements are necessary. Our dietitian can provide you with a food/symptom diary and a list of key words/indgredients to avoid. Make sure to schedule a follow-up visit. The follow-up visit allows you to discuss progress, as well as concerns. You may also need to make an alternate plan for suggestions that did not work.
